Yes. I do believe there will be blacksheeps involve, they will be people who take advantage of people kindness to earn some hard-earned cash from them. well this is just sharing my experiences pls do not flame me. i personally believe in helping those in need but sometimes you need to question yourself if there's blacksheeps in the midst of those you are trying to help
But i still do not believe that eating a $3 buck meal is consider too much. Maybe eating macdonalds is a bit too extreme for the cases..
Why not put it this way, sometime after a hard day of work. Maybe it not wrong for them to treat themselve a considerable above average meal?(Somemore those meal u saw them eating are not consider exp in the first place) If u saw them the first time and than base your judgement just one time, guess it rather unfair to them. But if u happen to saw the same person always eating such good meal than it allright to base your judgement on them... -
i personally has and never will pay for tissues for people soliciting them lo.. give to street performers also better cos at least they are selling their art instead of these people who just buy and sell the tissues for a super high profit..

i got experience with this ang mo..he sell those pins...put yr table..if wan den buy
in my opinion..the worst are those peopl fighting for soft drink can...die die wan u to finish them even though u just pour the water....some can come and shake yr can w/o asking loh -

at orchard road, at the traffic junction between cineleisure and heeren there's always this old malay woman there who holds a big red plastic bag full of tissue and sells them everyday.
Common sight right?
Well she comes there every morning in a merc.
Apparently the money she gets from selling tissue is just her cigaratte money
Another case, at the same place
Got a group of 3 girls wear short skirts, can't rem how they look like but face also prob like shit. They will target males and get them to donate by closing him on him all at once and pester him. Of course i ignored them la. Then knn, later one of them said "Bu guan zhe zhong you chen ren la" Stupid Ah lians.
Just be careful of who you donate to. Especially those that ask for a minute of your time. Always very persistent and when u want to leave also very hard. -

I like the way the deaf people are asking for helps at fastfood outlets. Guess many of you had came across this. They just distribute what they are selling together with a note explaining their needs to every table.
Usually there is no price tag to the stuffs they are selling and you can name your own price. They then walk all over again to every table and collect back what they have distributed, and ppl who want to buy just give money. They are always smiling and will gesture a thankyou no matter what.
What I hate most is not the can collectors or tissue sellers. But those who carries some paper and go up to you and started explaining about what associations and sells you coupons for 5 dollars. Some of them just keep pestering you on and on. -

be careful of this. sometimes they take the opportunity to swipe something away from your table. don't leave valubles on the table.
The indian woman used to frequent NUS as well, with her daughter. The daughter is young and physically fit, but she choose to accompany the mother around selling tissues and not work.
I'm also sure you all have heard of syndicates from a neighbouring country coming over to Singapore to sell tissue right

EVer since I sec 3, I saw her peddling tissues at Bishan MRT. Sometimes she will wave a sign saying she cant see.
The good thing about her is that she is polite. SHe doesnt really intrude to the public. Usually its people who approach her to buy tissue and not the other way round. -

There also this shameless middleage woman who wear like tube/spaghetti strap/bareback, Er Xin ah!!. I hate this kind of lady. She was selling Chay kway teow in the interchange hawker. She always shake people cans to see if finish anot.. very irritating.
Next time i will give both a good scolding!

I can say those people who buy tissue paper from old people are actually not really interested in the tissue paper, they buy because they want to help the old people.
Why do we see old people collecting carton boxes, searching for empty can drink, selling tissue paper ? Aren't they suppose to enjoy their remaining life?
Have u occur u may even become one of them when u are old?
