have you all notice there seems to be alot of old folks and handicapped people selling these tissues nowadays? why isnt the government doing anything to help them especially with living costs going higher nowadays. -

Please consider the fact that nobody will restort to sell tissues on the streets unless they really have not other choice.
Think about her reason for selling tissues on the streets before you decide to turn heartless without giving it a second thought.

My aunt saw her eating lunch costing $3 plus (she mumbling to herself saying they gave so little side dishes for what she paid). If she had to come out to earn a living selling tissue, do you think its logical of her spending $3+ on 1 meal when some other people with financial difficulties only eat 2 meals a day?
It okay what to spend $3 dollar on a meal. Maybe she did have 2 meals a day and your aunt just happen to saw that? $3 buck for a meal is not a lotta at the living of stranded we have now -

well this is just sharing my experiences pls do not flame me. i personally believe in helping those in need but sometimes you need to question yourself if there's blacksheeps in the midst of those you are trying to help -

i saw 1 foreigner(he looks like one or maybe he is) going around putting a card with some patterns on it on the table of those eating then he walks away. the card said something that theres a donation of $5 for this card blahblah.
i turned it down. it was the 2nd time when i saw him at a fastfood restaurant in a shopping centre. The first location i saw him was a few mrt stations away

well, it will be worse in a decade or 2. the population will have a huge ratio of elderly (that's us). This reminds me when this guy signed that he was deaf and couldnt hear anything.. and help him buy tissues/soft toys at 2 dollars... At first, me and my gf was sympathetic and decided to just give him $5 but i was sceptical..After giving him $5, he walked away. And as he was walking away, I said loudly "Eh your $10 dollar note dropped"..Then, he turned around and muttered where? !!!!!!!!!!!!
WAH KNN CCB...i ran after him and grabbed his collar all the way to the nearest polica station via taxi lor Exp taxi ride some more But at least better than he escape than cheating more people..
Moral Of Story : Feigning Illness/Disabilities that can't be seen is damn easy. Except those u see are amputees la -
