Does it really help cure sore throat?
my throat feels a bit funny..... and our pi pa gao finish oredi..... i feel lazy to walk to the market to get it....... unless someone tell me it can really help...

Anyway when I drink it, it soothes my throat.. so give it a try... The taste is herbal and refreshing -
No use lah. Best is go see a doctor and get medicine for sore throat. And avoid heaty food. You have too much durians is it?

No, it didn't help me one bit. It only made my throat feel better at the point of swallowing.
I always rely on my trusty TCM herb+bumblebee-bumblebee formula for sore throats. It NEVER FAILS.
By the way, does anyone actually dissolve pi pa gao in water before you consume it? -

I swear by this stuff ... caught a bad case of sore throat and chest congestion (perhaps because I was quitting ciggies then ... ) ... coughing up green stuff every single day .... bought all sorts of ang moh expectorants, didnt work ... chanced upon this stuff at an asian mart, and 2 days later I was jumping ...

update: i took that sea coconut thingy... the menthol-soothing senstion on the throat lasts even longer than the effect of pipa gao... not bad...
tml i go out then maybe i'll go get the pipa gao....... then if it becomes a bad flu then i'll go and see doctor....

there is pi pa tang (sweet) oso...........suck suck oso not bad........
when i have sore throat or irritation i jus drink more water and avoid heaty food.....
