Few days ago, i saw this paper report of a hospital in singapore is suing a patient family for $500+ k. If this case is won by the hosiptal, alot of those patient who really cant afford the bill will be in trouble as this case ruling will pave the road for future trigger happy hospital.

not this. only this week paper nia. Sue to recover the 500+k in medical bill. Which was disputed caz the member claim they were inform bill ard $15k and due to complication it ballon to 500k+

Oohh.. PSPS did not notice. Will this be the casae which will eventually pave the way for the other hospital to be trigger happy. Pay the bill or i sue.. Most of the hospital is already privatise. How many more unfortunate incident muz happy before government reali wake up..

We cant even use 100% of our own medisave to cover our own bills let alone hers. They will only allow a certain % of the o/s buiill to be paid by medisave and the bal in cold hard cash
