Buy a lot of Cornetto cone ice cream and when they bar you from taking them into the cinema, gladly give them all to the staff for safekeeping.
After the movie, just go home without the ice cream.
Let the staff worry about cleaning the mess when the ice cream melts. -

My assessment of Singaporeans is a stark frankness, something few people are willing to admit. We answer calls in the Cinema to make bets with punters, oblivious to other viewers, eat like horses and litter the cinema...why?
Because we have the sickening mentality that it is 'my' right.

My right because it is my handphone and i will use it as i damn well see fit regardless of the rules.
My right because when i finish eating and leave the trash behind, there will always be an 'attendant' who cleans up after me. (and it's part of the ticket cost)
So long as no one ticks me off, i will continue to do what i like. And when someone does tick me off, instead of being embarrassed, i will challenge him and read him the riot act.
That lawyer who ticked off an An Beng in the cinema for blatantly using his phone didn't get beaten up because he was ugly.

Also, I wanted to point out that these ppl are intolerable. Hah!!! Typical Singaporeans - hokkien style of communication. They cannot even play among one another. We can obviously see the difference between the Malaysian culture and Singaporean culture is dragging away even further. And as for the second last paragragh that you pointed out, it marks the true contention of Singaporeans among their people while we were just attacked by our goverment. As for our citizens, we still can get along one another.
I still stick to my point that I still love my country regardless of how !@#$#% our goverment is, but how much love for the rakyat.
