Good news. I'm not a Singaporean. I'm MY (KL). I'm used to be a vey active forumer in one cinema forum in Malaysia. Then, I came accross one member who is name Kns82 (also a new member - create a new account just to post this sh*t) who posted excactly the same thing as what I did. And guess what, almost the whole member tread attacked her. It's even worst than how you flame at ppl. So, I purposely create a new account and post this thing to see what are your response and how you deal with her. You call these flame????? *cough* x2 x3 x4

If i had my way, ban all food stuff from the cinema. Can't seem to watch a show without someone tearing open a bag of smuggled Lays' onion and sour cream.
Design cinemas like the esplanade theatre, zero network reception so it blunts out indiscriminate phone users. Evidently, our people are STUPID because they cannot understand simple instructions.
And for those who throw food at attendants because they were simply doing their job...well....take out your baseball bat or 6 iron and give it a swing.

My assessment of Singaporeans is a stark frankness, something few people are willing to admit. We answer calls in the Cinema to make bets with punters, oblivious to other viewers, eat like horses and litter the cinema...why?
Because we have the sickening mentality that it is 'my' right.
My right because i paid 'good money' to watch a film.
My right because it is my handphone and i will use it as i damn well see fit regardless of the rules.
My right because when i finish eating and leave the trash behind, there will always be an 'attendant' who cleans up after me. (and it's part of the ticket cost)
So long as no one ticks me off, i will continue to do what i like. And when someone does tick me off, instead of being embarrassed, i will challenge him and read him the riot act.
That lawyer who ticked off an An Beng in the cinema for blatantly using his phone didn't get beaten up because he was ugly.
That's the typical Singaporean for you. -
