Hello, I don't think Vodafone makes mobile phone.
If I am not wrong, Japan uses CDMA(Currenly WCDMA, testing 4G now) and it means there isn't SIM card who allows changing mobile phone units.
If Vodafone is a service provider, it can only mean that those phones made by Sharp are designed to be used for Vodafone subscribers only. -

Mmm.... I dun think the V-series are unlocked yet le.
You might wanna double check again.... anyway, there community of exotic phone owners are pretty large. haha....
I still think 903 by far has the best design and functions thou. 904 might win alittle in performace but design wise....
V-series is very nice... but i dun think they are unlocked for used as they do not use SIM? I believe they are on CDMA network. So please check again before you buy from your friend.
You should check out Taiwan's phone. Gigabyte 5mp cam (up to 7mp) WOOT!
Dun bother about Korea thou. Different network totally.
