I'd have applauded the chef for throwing the woman out if I were there. That's what you deserve for refusing to follow a simple rule and making a complete ass out of yourself in public.
And I've noticed that there seems to be no corelation between a person's behaviour and their level of education, or profession. -

Me ever come across an article on consumer rights and provider rights...
Under consumer rights, as long as you are dissatified with the service or product, you can exert your rights by not acknowledging and paying for the service or product...
Under provider rights, as long as the provider has put up its conditions and terms that consumer has to abide, the provider reserves the rights to reject and deny any service or product should the consumer choose to ignore or flout...
In this case, the teacher knowingly acknowledged the condition of no outside food, she had chosen to ignore it... As such when advised, she abused her rights by flouting the conditions laid by the restaurant, and now crying foul as she was pulled out of the restaurant... -
