  I've not cleaned my keyboard thoroughly... I think there's porridge, ciabatta, potato chips, maybe a noodle strand or two, biscuit crumbs and dunno what else.
  
  Oops, I just spotted a sesame hiding behind my ESC key.

  I would dismantle the entire keybaord, take out the membrane printed flex circuit, pull out all the keys and soak them in detergent water.
  
  Spray wash the housing base and topside cover, dry everything up and re-assemble it.
  
  SQUEAKY CLEAN!
