A question for Uni students

  Ok i cant info on this anywhere so sumone enlighten me plueeze..
  
  Is first sem's grade as important as last sem? As in do they haf the same weightage? Are sem 1 and 2 grades counted in the final GPA leading to ur cert?
  
  Or do we haf to meet the passing grade in sem 1 and 2 just in order to promote?
  
  Thanks lots for reading btw.. I noe abit boring to ask bout studies in forums..

  in nus, first and last equally impt. Ntu also the same cos change liao i think.

  Every semester is important, every semester count towards your final grade. If you're going to aim for just 4s in sem 1 and 2, you better aim only for 7s for the remainder.

  Every semester is equally impt. That why they call it the cumulative academic point.

  Uni is much worse than A level if you are someone particular about grades.

  I'm in Year 2, Sem 1. It is not what people tell you, it is what you want to gain from it that really counts.

  That's another thing to learn in future, that your office has a pantry for you, and your boss has his own pantry.

  put it simply uni is very easy to pass but quite hard to get good honours.

  right, we're on a different planet then. But you should aim to get the minimum GPA/CAP for honours track by end of year 2.
