Why are kids(age maybe say less than 1

so scared of a small beetle? See one act as if they have seen a ghost???
I think it is because of lifestyle changes...Kids nowadays straightaway after school go back do homework.After that,for their recreation,they hang around the internet or stay fixed to the latest game consoles...As a result,they have minimal interaction with Mother Nature.
Unlike kids from the past(me included), I remember always catching guppies,tadpoles,grasshopers and spiders with my peers after school.As a result,we have been socialized to be not afraid of insects...Sure my time(the glorious 80s) got things like Western Bar and Golden Axe but they were not as popular as DOTA is now...
