Mind u, giordano is a world wide brand which produces good quality clothings at a reasonable price.
Shops at bugis village IMPORTS their merchandise from other countries like Japan or some other countries. So u mean all those ppl who does their shopping there have bad dress sense? Then could u pls kindly illustrate to us ur defination of good dress sense OR a place to shop which is not considered a fashion graveyard? Versace? Armani? Gucci? or any other branded stores?
Its very impractical to actually shop for branded stuffs. Lemme take the girl's clothing for example here. Have u guys ever wonder y are u paying $500 or more for a piece of dress which only covers very little of ur body (which means little material was used) and it could be translucent which means everything inside could be seen by the public.
now back to guys dressing. what do u mean by dressing well for guys? come on , we guys have only limited type of clothings, its either pants, jeans, berms or shorts. as for tops, we have only polo tees, round/crew neck, short/long sleeves shirt, jackets, tux, business coats. WE DO NOT HAVE FANCY TYPE OF TOPS LIKE THE LADIES SO OUR DRESSING IS OF COS NOT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE.
And what? u expect us to wear a long skirt with slit in the front like what Bryan Wong has worn on the 1st episode of Comedy King on the streets and being mocked at or being called a gay? come on this is singapore, so dress like singapore. if u are not happy with what the guys wear here in SG then u can go stay at some other countries where the guy's dressing pleases ur eyes.
Back to the ladies now. DO u think that most ladies in SG know how to dress up too?? I say NO! i've seen many obese ladies wearing halter neck tops with very short shorts and a pair of CROCS in the streets. exposing their excess fats in public and talking as if they are the prettiest woman on earth. Ladies who wears low cut but have nothing to expose as in stephanie Sun's chest type. girls who wears tube top and a very short mini skirt with their bra strap exposed to the public thinking that its a so called fashion.
Dress sense is to dress up according to what suits u and not whats on u thats considered the IN-thing now. would u call an 80 yr old ah pek wearing armani suits handsome when he has got no money in his pockets after purchasing the suit?
To the TS : as long as a person wears something when he goes out, its considered decent cos he has his privates covered from the view of the public. May it be shorts singlets and slippers, its still considered decent. its only a matter of whether u like it or not. So if u dun like that kind of dressing then don't look and stop complaining about SG guys having bad dress sense when the ladies are doing the same thing.
