What are the behaviors you see in public you find irriting?

she doesn't owe you a living to think for you. if you want hte seat you can ask for it. its doesn't take much effort for youand its to your own benefit and none to hers or even detrimental. looking at the cost benefit analysis, its common sense not to move unless the person requires it.
i'll just forgo the discussion about whether one wants to be onthe outside

you see a pregnant lady standing, you offer her your seat, even if she did not ask for it. i don't owe the pregnant lady anything, its just basic manners. even if its a normal person standing, i will move my a** in. common sense. -

note that even giving a seat to the pregnant women is not a matter of good manners but one of feeling empathy/sympathy and acting on it.
don't jsut let your "rules" or "common sense" dictate your actions. do learn to think for yourself -

today i kena one. i went up the bus, then walk right up to a moron who was sitting on the outside of the bus seat. there was only this empty seat and one more empty seat behind. both the morons were sitting on the outside. i stood there and waited, guess what, she didn't even move a muscle lah! then i said excuse me very loud, then she moved in to the inner seat. kaoz!

if a person is walking really really slowly or suddenly stops.. spare a thought for him or her.. who knows? he/she might have just "lost" a loved one or just broke up with someone or something devastating might have happened.
Or they might just be really tired from not having slept for the past 4 days or something..
anyhow i've not taken a bus or the mrt for at least 1 year.. i miss all of the above no matter how bad they are.. all these 'unsightly' people just makes life more interesting and colourful..
imagine if every bus you took was empty except for u and the driver, if every train you took was empty except for you and the lady announcing doors closing - wouldn't it be worse? driving/riding alone sux cos tats the feeling. -
In short, dont get so irritated by these acts in public. They're all human. Life is short, embrace everything, smile and stay happy =)

but hor, at times when the mrt is super crowded, intimate hugging does helps to save space, and when mrt train super crowded, no one will be able to go look at others.
