Keyword here is allegedly. If SPH cannot acertain who allegedly said that, then there is only one party that could have said that, SPH itself.
Anyway, this is going to be settled out of court. Not very interesting for people who like to follow up. -

Since when i was in sec sch, which was 13 yrs back, IJ girls have given an impression to me that either they are very easy to hook up or they are probably les. it has been the IJ tradition for all these yrs. Come on man, if those board of comittee doesn't want their sch to be given such names, then they would probably have to really start educating their girls to becoming nuns.
i wouldn't say all of the IJ girls are like this but at least 70% of them are like what was being described in the papers.
Based on one person's impression, a subjective and slanted overview has been developed and, like heresay without offending those unassociated with such actions, will spread like wildfire in a dry bush.
It's always easy to stereotype a single individual and paint the whole institution as such.
But's its also wrong, especially if the aim is simply to sensationalise a story without proper facts. -
It's also been said that CJC once had the highest abortion rate among the JCs, and subsequently, HJC was bestowed that (dis)honour.
But again, where's the proof? Who started these allegations? And where's the material to justify it?
How easily people hop on the bandwagon, so long as its banner displays controversy. -
if its one person...then probably most of us wouldn't have seen it before...
lets say Mary is the only convent girl that folds her skirt...hooks up with guys...then what are the chances of so many people seeing Mary hooking up with other guys?
if many people have seen it...probably there is some truth in it...and like croco said...no wind...no wave -

It's one thing to talk and gossip about it.
But another thing to put in down to print in a national newspaper. That makes it "official", allegedly or not LOL . The schools HAVE to defend their reputation. I think the paper can be gracious and just apologise lah. -

This incident is a small blip to SPH, I think they'd just apologise for being insensitive and get it over with. I doubt the schools will sue.
