U try asking all the pregnant ladies if It is enjoyable to get preg?Originally posted by eddyshinoda:moral of the story is

The mum-to-be didn't ask for a seat. The sad thing is that arrogance, selfishness and avarice have replaced grace and thoughtfulness in those seated commuters.Originally posted by eddyshinoda:moral of the story is

Car so expensive so jia lat pregant also gotta go squeeze bus, wait for bus and i even saw a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids. both babies ) and 1 baby in the stomache boarding the MRT. So many kids but be damn expensive. The malay couple so rich to have so many kids why don't want to buy a car?? umm....Originally posted by alan-:was taking a bus from katong to orchard this morning. there is this pregnant lady that's around 4-5 mths pregnant and boarded the same bus as me.
the bus was as usual crowded and we have to stand near entrance. the bad thing is, nobody seems to notice abt the pregnant lady. nobody gave her a seat. at the next stop, a guy sitting jus beside this pregnant lady alighted. and amazingly, a young, probably 20 something, abled body guy snatch her seat. and this pregnant lady was quite shock herself. i dont thk anybody notice what happened except the few of us around.
and the poor pregnant lady had to wait about 10 mins later, and several kilometres away before a 50 something year old auntie gave her a seat.
i wonder what had singaporeans becoming to? so much for the 4mil smiles, but a simple courtesy is forgotten. i wished the imf people saw this and how ungraceful we are.

Why didn't u tell any 1 of abled body people to give up their seats for the pregnant lady??? And u turn a blind eye to it & let it pass like that??? And u come to the forum to complain??? In the worst case scenario, if everybody's like u, give way to cowardice, evil will flourish with ease.Originally posted by alan:was taking a bus from katong to orchard this morning. there is this pregnant lady that's around 4-5 mths pregnant and boarded the same bus as me.

What happened to the hao gong ming we were taught during primary school!Originally posted by Kuali Baba:This mirrors the other thread about MRT commuters.
I've lost almost, if not all, faith in other young Singaporeans and the people who raised them. What happened to gracious behaviour?
yah some women tend to have a stinky attitute. They tot as if people owe them and they deserve the right. I meet a lot of such people when working. Some customers demand good quality service, but they should think to themselve "are they themselve showing good manners, polite, courteous in the first place when speaking to the staffs initially?"Originally posted by xXhuskyXx:Sometime its not whether wan to give anot...for instance...once i was on the MRT while going back home from raffles place...there is this lady with child that board the train ar around newton-summerset area i cant remember while i was slping due to damn tired and listening to my MP3 at the same time...den when i saw her right in fornt of me when i woke up, i wanted to giv in the seat to her...but after i took out my MP3 earpiece...tmd straight away dun wan giv liaoz...trying to hint me that i SHOULD and i mean SHOULD giv the seat to her...the use of her words is insulting me...den i jus shout back at her....F*** u lar...wan seat dun giv attitude lar b***h...den she called her husband and trying to insult me again...this kind of ppl jus dun deserve the right to hav the seat...so what if u got baby and carry lots of stuffs...do u think ur manners is better than those that dun giv in to u![]()

If you give up seat to these people, don't expect any "thank you"s. Sometimes, you'd really have to assess people by their faces before you extend acts of kindness.Originally posted by Phoebie:yah some women tend to have a stinky attitute. I believe that you do a good deed then others will do a good deed to you. So why wait, just offer them your seat. Your good deed will be repaid.. regardless whether how they look or what. You cant judge a personality by appearance.Originally posted by dracky:If you give up seat to these people, don't expect any "thank you"s.
