STOMP's registration requirements

  Certainly a registration procedure like that would put me off Stomp. I may not post racist/bigoted postings, but I certainly do not want unwanted people getting hold of my contact details and personal particulars.
  
  If they're so scared of inflammatory postings being put up, then isn't there such a thing called responsible forum moderating? Don't tell me that Stomp's moderators aren't vigilant enough to monitor such postings closely and put an end to them if need be.
  
  Give me good ol' sgforums anytime.
