Thanks in advance for any recommendation...planning to go there around 21st this month
gather at least 10 to 15 persons..
then if you got relatives in Malaysia.. ask them book for u cause they will be charged in Ringgits (example RM$75 per person). If u let the chalet owner know you're from Singapore, they'll charge you in Singapore dollars (etc S$75) per person.
I went to one of the air con cemented chalets many years ago. Very enjoyable and fun. 2 days one night. 1st day afternoon reach there got lunch provided, at night BBQ inclusive, karaoke, fishing at chalet, 2nd morning got breakfast, then noon check-out they bring you to kelong, then after that went for lunch at one of the seafood restaurants there.
Erm there are some chalets made of woods, some made of cement also. But one thing very interesting is frightened u r by walking on the wooden pranks and looking at how your feet trembling and shaking out of fear when walking on the old wooden pranks.. then u look down through some of the holes can see dirty mud.. that time I walk so slowly and afraid because scare step on spolit pranks or hole and drop into the dirty mud or sea below. But I think now most walkways are made of cements instead of wooden pranks unless the inner part of the village. Then when go toilet u'll realise the toilet bowl is opened to the sea. That time saw a shit floating near the jetty.
It's very fun and interesting to visit Kukup. I heard can visit the mangroves near there via boat also (provided it's high-tide). Got fireflies at night. Erm not too sure cause I never visit the mangroves before.
