Going to Library..... to study, borrow books etc

Hi guys,
ask you a question, what will you do when you go to the library??
Borrow, study etc?
Recently, I found out that more people are studying in the library as it is a condusive environment to study in? Whereever you go, you can see people studying on the floor, tables, chairs. With this, the library can become a school
Sometime, they also like to use their bags and etc to chop the places when they go to eat or etc. Like that it will be dangerous as it will be prone to thieves of stealing their items.
So should the library should placed more tables and chairs in the library in order to let the people to study in a proper manner or???
PS: Do you know what I am talking on -

by right, library is not a place for u to study. so if they wan to put more tables and chairs, it becomes a double-edged sword. u need to cater to casual readers and at the same time not attract more ppl who'll stay for hours to study, or shld i say, procrastinate while leaving their bags there. -.-"

in fact i go there study with my students the day i got snatched, as seen in another topic, i go do my work, they study. other den the cafe simply no place to sit at all lor, and its only heng heng got a few avail seats. this is the first time i sat in the cafe oso!

unless u are studying alone, or else the library is a lousy place for group study.
cos in a group, people will most definitely start talking and discussing, even chit chatting. how is one going to do that in a place where 1 must maintain complete silence all the time? -

Especially when Singapore so hot, there should be at least an "air-con" place for us to sit, and enjoy doing our homework.
Probably a "students center" should be set up, probably oso food inside for us to buy

I just went to AMK library tis afternoon, and saw a whole bunch of students(about half a class i guess), sitting on the floor, using the black sofa to do their group discussion for their exams tomorrow[i guess from what i heard].
then the library auntie & uncle come and say they too disruptive and have to leave the library, before leaving, still want them to write their names,classes and their schools on a piece of paper!!!
and before the libray auntie n uncle came, the library actually played 2 messages through the PA system, "Please make the library condusive by keepying your volume down... ...", i think they are refering to the group of students.. -

i can't even find a place to sit to discuss project with my frens.. without going to cafes and fast food. and during lunch hour or dinner hours, only place are certain cafes. -
Has anyone seen mothers managing their children in libraries? They shout like nobody's business.

Yah they sit on the floor and use the seats (cushioned backless sofas whatever you call it) as tables. Some even take one entire seat to himself and oblivious to the other users.
