When Indonesia doesn't give a fcking damn about smoking the entire region, I just hope that they get hit by a hundred tsunamis. Mebbe only then will the fires be put out...........

Guys, we should perhaps set up a donation drive to raise funds and give indonesia.
obviously indonesia are poor, they need our help and money.
i say we stop complaining about the haze and indonesia and start giving money to indonesia!! -
The money you give will not even reach the common folk who need it most but end up in the pockets of those oredi rich.

I believe it is no excuse for being poor or choosing to be so by being plain lazy.
Think business minded and turn a crisis into a business opportunity.
You have plenty of forest and wood that feeds fire caused by the hot weather or mischiefs from unhappy ppl. You have plenty of ppl with no jobs or are lowly skilled and earning little. you definitely have rich governement officials or business men or an accumulatioin of funds from charity orgamizations or neutral banks. How to make it a healthy circulation of money, labor and for a cause?
Hire the jobless or low income unskilled group to tidy up the forests. It may take months or years or eternity but simply by cutting down part of the forest and separating them into sections, you can contain forest fire by cutting down their area of spread annd make way for accessiblilty to fire fighting vehicles and personnel in the event of a holocaust. this will require land planning from the locals and experts from the national countries. The cut wooden can be dispose off or sold as useful timber. the profits from the sale of the wood paid to the workers and remainder goes into the pockets of businessmen. fire can be contained in such a manner or at least prevented to spread and cause too much inconvenience to neighbouring countries. The environment more cleaner and green...everybody is a winner! -
the cost of a gallon of kerosene and a match is cheaper to the pulp and oil palm plantation owners...

The i believe they should start cutting down forests or reduce the sizes of their forests, do a migration or forestation if they feel a need to maintain a balanced ecosystem. Just think and work the brains and start doing it. Plain selfishness is causing much inconvenience to the neighbouring countries.

Spray some kind of chemical that retards or STOPS the growth of trees and vegetation, so that there's nothing to slash or burn.

I would do that if I know that all these donation monies will actually reach the needy...
