Spartan knight are great but they are fully armed horsemen with heavy armor while at war with lousy persian soldier. And those knight armor are so good at that time that arrows and normal sword are not able to pierce thru. Its hard to compare for those Europe warrior and those of middle east cos one is fully armed and the other are not. The technology are many times aparts.
But those in three kingdom are fighting hand-to-hand are using about the same technology and weapons.
So its quite hard to compare.
Spartan Knights? Or Spartan Hoplites?
IMHO, best is still Lu Bu. Why? Because he fought the 3 sworn brothers to a standstill. 3sworn bros= Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.
