PSI: Obsolete measurement.

I am starting to doubt NEA meaurement of air pollution. Only 130 at this moment? They have to be kidding.
This is what i found in wikipedia:

Hourly updates of 3-hr PSI readings are provided from 6am to 12am.The 3-hr PSI readings are calculated based on PM10 concentrations only."

if its one reading every 3hrs. thn how come the readings they superimpose on tv is like every 10mins?

3pm : 127
so to calculate 4pm reading we need 3 hour average, since 4pm : 130, therefore:
(114 + 127 + x) / 3 = 130
(241 + x) / 3 = 130
241 + x = 390
therefore, x = 149 !!!! (this is the actual reading!)
yet based on "average" reading, it is stated as 130. -
Indonesia should be slapped with a SANCTION!

the psi is already 250, mediacorp is just doing their job by reporting the haze like how they reported the elections.

Analyse this:
I checked the Malaysia Department of Environment API (Air Pollution Index) of Kuala Lumpur as of 11am. It is 76

I counter checked our NEA's reading at 11am: 84 ?!?!?!?!?!

So i assume there is no difference in "Thick Smoke Haze" and "Moderate Smoke Haze"? -

wat can u do...even if the psi is 300 the government wont let the nation have a curfew and stay indoor rite..which government in the right mind would let thier ecomonic activities stop for a day..

thats the point..they dont farking care...the citizen can die from air pollution..as long as the nation goes on..who care? thats most farkers attitude to the world...thats how our world get enviromental pollution..if some poor guys gonna die..who cares as long as my company is making money..i can burn and burn...

Anyways, the numbers are just numbers. Go around the country and different parts is affected differently. Jurong area is bad, Punggol is really bad, but the east side is not so bad. Anyways, mediacorspe/NEA will not want to spark massive panic, so might under report anyways... that day PSI 150, I don't know cause in Punggol, the roads just next to the HDB flats is totally not visible. Its definitely higher than 150.

as usual, they only give good news.... so actual reading is musch worst... unless mp kid suffer from tis else its business as usual...

all the staticstic is hidden by our gahmen u think they will give u?the gahmen kids wont get affected 1...y? they all hiding in their aircon houses..then go to school in big cars..attend cars in air con classes...return home in big cars again..then hide in their air con rooms...u think they will even get exposed to this kind of air? yes..but relative much much lesser compared to kids goin to sch in buses..studying in classes that aids ventilation so much..all the haze comes in...go home in buses..reaches home with no air con..and get all the freaking haze..

Yeah, we suffer like hell then also, still 128 as of 1800hrs. And now as reported, Kalimantan is requesting for human made rain and some help from Jakarta.
We just collect liquid waste and send over loh...
At Bukit Batok and Singapore Polytechnic, all hazy and something like 150-160. Now, presently the PSI at West area should be around 140. -
anyone got any past years article regarding the record high of psi 200+ that happened b4? maybe can do comparision

the NSFs that stay in camp are the ones breathing this kinda crappy air when they sleep... in addition to those without air cons.
anyway, why would they care?
they treat us like mushrooms anyway... keep us in the dark and feed us BS.
