go for health check-up regularyOriginally posted by kog:my cousin died at 25......
also saw a blog of cancer patient, she is also 25......
my friend's friend, non-smoker, also about the same age - lung cancer
Why the world becomes like this
how to prevent cancer?
doctor says early detection early treatment, more chance of recovery.
But cancer often develops without any symptom, how to detect early?
I also do not have cancer history in my family. totally none of my families died of cancer. they live to a ripe ugly old age and died or died thru accidents.Originally posted by kaister:For young people to get cancer, it's likely to be some form of genetic predisposition. If you don't have a history of cancer in your family, you're unlikely to get cancer at a young age.
Depends on the type of cancer. Many leukaemias are common in children...cervical cancer affects sexually active women, who can be quite young...Originally posted by viciouskitty74:I also do not have cancer history in my family. totally none of my families died of cancer. they live to a ripe ugly old age and died or died thru accidents.
But I had cancer at age 30. It was thankfully detected early so It was removed.
Have anyone really questions that it may be our pollution of the environment that triggers these cancers?
Aye...but not all cervical/womb cancer is due to sexual activity.Originally posted by oxford mushroom:Depends on the type of cancer. Many leukaemias are common in children...cervical cancer affects sexually active women, who can be quite young...
Virgins has that probelm too.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Aye...but not all cervical/womb cancer is due to sexual activity.
There are tons of carcinogenic factors (cancer causing) in our environment. Sometimes incidental mutations may allow the cells to proliferate uncontrollable.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:I also do not have cancer history in my family. totally none of my families died of cancer. they live to a ripe ugly old age and died or died thru accidents.

MOST cervical cancers associated with human papilloma virus (same virus that cause genital warts). So ya, technically they are transmitted by sexual activities.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Aye...but not all cervical/womb cancer is due to sexual activity.
anything that is excessive is bad for health and who know you might get some diease from the hospital so many sick patients thereOriginally posted by kaeden:go for health check-up regulary
You're telling people not to go for their regular check up?? You don't have to go to the hospital to check. Just go to your regular GP.Originally posted by ghimpheng:anything that is excessive is bad for health and who know you might get some diease from the hospital so many sick patients there
the above post was joking for those who think it is normal post
Sorry, the word is not transmitted.Originally posted by kaister:MOST cervical cancers associated with human papilloma virus (same virus that cause genital warts). So ya, technically they are transmitted by sexual activities.
Womb cancers (endometrical cancers) are linked to hormonal exposure. So gals who have their first menses early and their menopause late are at high risk.
Thats unfortunately the problem.Originally posted by digicharat:human life expectancy is getting longer and longer. so i dun see whats wrong with people dying young. prevent overpopulation. free up more resources.![]()
Veggies & fruits, insecticide and preservatives.Originally posted by #$%^&*:Dont worry. Eat veggie and fruits, sleep enough, excersice.
Not true. I spoke to one Ambulance driver- he tells me cancer very quick esp. advanced stage, most don't last more than 6 mths.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Thats unfortunately the problem.
Human life is getting longer and longer, and we have better medical technology to help it along.
Even with cancer, a person might have to suffer thru 13 years before one actually dies. And that eats into resources more then ever.

Yes, most are sexually transmitted technically and that was the point I was trying to make. The causal association is almost affirmative (>90% cervical cancer is triggered by HPV). However, having only one partner is not a risk factor.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Sorry, the word is not transmitted.
HPV acceralates the formations of cervical cancer. Any female, as long as you are engage in sexual activity, even with one partner will and can develop cancer.
I trust thats why you capitalised the word MOST.
Truth is, everyone one of us already has cancer cells. The cells only turns bad due to triggers. It can be from food, dieseases or even a simple bump on your bones.
The average age is 12 but anywhere from 8 to 16 is considered as normal. Early menses is quite subjective and anywhere prior to 10 years of age can be considered early.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:BTW, when is it considered early to have a girls first menses?
