  Hainanese chicken rice is a Chinese rice dish most commonly associated with Malaysian cuisine or Singaporean cuisine(from Wiki)
  
  Actually material of making "Hainanese chicken rice", spics, rice and chicken is only made when hainanese came to singapore and malaysia.
  so there are no 'hainan chicken rice' in hainan, in hainan they call it other name.

  There is no Hainan chicken rice on Hainan Island or anything remotely like the Hainanese Chicken Rice we know here. It's a local dish invented by the early settlers.
  
  On Hainan they like to eat Boiled Duck though. Have it on the table for every single meal
