How about third-party money-lender aka loan shark?
I've already said "Multiply my $", no stocks. If I got good idea, I don't have to ask.Originally posted by Rock^Star:Doing business with $89k, if that's all u have, is risky. Perhaps u can try investing in stocks and shares BUT u must know what u r doing. If u have no idea what that is, u can always take half of it to start a small shop or something like that.
It's hard to advise something like that over the internet. U got to know wat u want and what u think is gd.
So, all you can offer/suggest is still stocks?Originally posted by Rock^Star:Well sorry, not that i have any gd ideas. U seem to have an adverse feeling about stocks. It's not as risky as u think. A lot of things are calculated risks. But if u don;t feel gd about it, then it's alright.![]()
Alright, gd for u.Originally posted by rojak12:So, all you can offer/suggest is still stocks?
How do you know I have adverse feeling about stocks? I said no stocks, because I am already on it (and pretty good!). That's how I get to accumulate the $ due to the recent bull run.
I want something different to generate $, that's all. And wait for the sharp correction etc, then Super Duper Whack with my multiplied $ to move to the next level. I can wait 2 years, 3 years I don't care.
Thanks! I will consider this as one of the suggestions.Originally posted by libbytan:My parents bought a few Rolexes/Philip Patek/Cartier watches about five years ago....I just heard that someone is offering my father for his watches. My father told me that the person is offering him 40% more than his original bought price!
I guess luxury mechanical watch is a good investment for your $90k.
I already said that I HAD invested in stocks. I yield-ed 300% to reach S$90K now.Originally posted by banzie:Simple... buy real estate lor.... but the return not high if you're looking for fast sell... I guess the more logical would be unit trust.. they are lower risk and quite high return as compared sometime even to shares... if you're risk taker and know what you're doing go for the shares... Finally you would like to invest... and you don't like the ideal of sit at home and wait for money to grow... go for buisnesses... build your own business. But its your success rate very low... I think with your amount unit trust and the amount you earn every year is enough to feed your for a life time... if you're a smart invester... I'm serious... image returns of 20-30% could yield 1++k to 3k a month... just stay home and kel ka can liao...
If i were u,i would do some market studies before pluging that $Originally posted by rojak12:Hi,
