Much amount of money is being spent for infrastructure and public transport.
As you know, new MRT routes are being built.
If you ride an MRT, perhaps you will lucky to ride a new MRT train.

actually, i have been to other countries and used their public transport... ours is GOOD..
HOWEVER, it is NOT and nowhere near sufficient for the population...
and then, some of us, are doomed to private transportation.. i can't take public transport now.. not with a messed up back...
so i wonder.. how does a person with a condition like mine who cannot afford a car, be able to go to work?
so, maybe i tend to not believe Raymond Lim...
or maybe that deranged Wee girl should take public transport for a change? maybe people will start to believe him -

What is worst are the additional constructions of new MRT lines. and clearing of natural grass patches into governmental utilities. With the 'higher standards' of living, increase in consumers' growth, foreign employees, ORD'ed NSF, it's no wonder public transportations are so crowded nowadays.
Encouragement for babies due to aging society? Or is it an excuse solely for profital and industrial gain, without concern of the maintainence of the population?

Best solution is to migrate my dear friends....cities are very polulated...whether it is London, Tokyo, Shanghai or Sillypore...but hey! Guess what is the difference......London, Tokyo and Shanghai all have countrysides man....and that is where me and many other ex-sillyporeans have done...so come join us

Eh, I ask you one thing first... how many couples out there are willing to get more than 2 kids? Most of them only want one or no kids at all. You think they have time to bring those kids up while working and slogging for their very lives?

So let me assure you, that Singapore's population will decrease even though 4 million people is still growing. Those are foreigners coming in and then going out.
I fear for the future pure-bred Singaporean existence. Looks like we might be extinct one day. There's a huge aging population here. My place has just got a senior citizen park set up + playground. Since when did the government ever build new playgrounds for kids recently??
