obviously you are overly pampered. what's the big deal about travelling 4 hours? have you seen people walking 2 hours to work everyday? or rather riding/travelling across the countryside for hours to sch/work?Originally posted by hisoka:you try travel 4 hours every day and tell me near or far

are you trying to tell us you are experiencing that?Originally posted by weeie:obviously you are overly pampered. what's the big deal about travelling 4 hours? have you seen people walking 2 hours to work everyday? or rather riding/travelling across the countryside for hours to sch/work?
sg so small and yet still complain far. so you must not be able to survive in other countries.
go ahead and try and tell me and please input the 8-6 hours + OT.Originally posted by weeie:obviously you are overly pampered. what's the big deal about travelling 4 hours? have you seen people walking 2 hours to work everyday? or rather riding/travelling across the countryside for hours to sch/work?

LMAO don't know what the crap ur blabbering about. what has traveling time got to do with 8-6 routine?...do you wanna include toilet breaks, meals and dating hours as well?Originally posted by hisoka:go ahead and try and tell me and please input the 8-6 hours + OT.
talk is easy come and say such stuff when you have actually done it and find it a breeze or no problem at all.
icic so in other countries which are big pple travel 4 hours one way to go for work or school? wow i guess i'm really pampered then.
btw sg can be small but time is anotehr issue and pple do use time to measure how far a place is when travelling. please get your fact right, or perhaps because you are so worldly you can read my mind?
wow you don't know that how much time you spend at work will affect how you view the time taken to get home? do i actually know something that you the great guru dont't?Originally posted by weeie:LMAO don't know what the crap ur blabbering about. what has traveling time got to do with 8-6 routine?...do you wanna include toilet breaks, meals and dating hours as well?
what makes you think i haven't done it before? i can boldly tell you that there are more people than you think whom have experienced all these. don't keep yourself secluded from the world. it's time to step out at look at what others are going through and experiencing. even reading the newspaper helps LOL
and yes, you are too pampered for having made the earlier commentsif you wanna talk about fact, i'm sure i know that more than you...i don't even need special power to read that mind of yours. THE FACT is that it's pretty obvious from the way your posts are.
btw, thanks for teaching me that people USE TIME to measure HOW FAR a place is when travelling. haha i'm impressed.
LOL...you are very hard to please just like offering you a job with longer traveling time. So what if i prove that i've experienced it before? ARE YOU going to reflect on yourself? Are you?Originally posted by hisoka:wow you don't know that how much time you spend at work will affect how you view the time taken to get home? do i actually know something that you the great guru dont't?
so have you or have you not done it? don't change the topic. and yes i agree please do look out from your little corner and take a look and actually register something in that mind of your please. you do read the newspapers don't you,? i hope you do anyway.
so you're sure you know mroe than me and that I'm pampered just as you are not? sad to say its obvious you are the one who's pampered, lacksing in common sense and presumptious.
see, you could learn if you were to actually read something. glad to have started you along the road to wisdom and knowledge; please do make some effort to proceed on your own, its rather wearisome to have to drag some one screaming and clawing down the path of knowledge and i doubt many people would want to do that for you either.
know why suzhou industrial park was constructed? all facilities inside the area...some includes hostels for the employees there...notice i use 'employees' instead of workers har...respect okay respect. other countries some do the same also. also ppl travelling to another city or state to work usually bunk up with otherrs in hostels or rented appartments...so only during holidays, thanks giving, x-mas and new year they go home. of course there are also ppl who really travel 4 b loo dy hours a day to work....it all depends on the circumstances...and if u want to break away from the situation when u have a chance or opportunity to. seriously in some jobs in sg hav to travel that long...worse some hav to travel to offshore island sian man.Originally posted by dragg:why argue about such a thing?
how many people travel 4 hrs to work?
it is stupid to compare to other countries.

I am intrigued. Where do you live in Singapore that you have to travel 4 hours to work? Perhaps you mean 2 hours each way...even so, that is quite extraordinary. You live in Pulau Tekong?Originally posted by hisoka:you try travel 4 hours every day and tell me near or far
definitely 2 hours to and 2 hrs fro...its possible. someone living in the east and going to the westto work or vice versa. 2 hours include waitin time and transfer of bus or mrt, wlaking to company location or home if required to. the direct route to the desitnation is short but if u were to take buses, tthey tends to meanders and detour to other ares so as to pick up passengers thus the increase in travel time and fare as compared to MRT...but now i feel even MRT travelling time has slowed down tooOriginally posted by oxford mushroom:I am intrigued. MRT stops at desinated stations so the area of coverage is not that wide. MRT only bring you to specific locations at the shortest route and time so u can plan or continue your journey ahead. buses are different. area coverage of buses are wider and they tends to go around in circles to pick up all the pessengers in the vicinity. if buses operates like train then less pessengers will be winthin reach.Originally posted by Dounut:Singapore is small, but our dear public buses travel around the island before reaching the destination.
Just like in my case, driving to Woodland only take me 20 min, but 90 min by bus. Going to work by car is 15 min, but 60 min by bus. It's only a 12 km distance.
