Do you find that SG is too bright at night?

Do you find that Singapore is way too bright at night? Can't even see stars. I was in Sri Lanka, quite dark at night and when I looked up in the sky, it was a beautiful sight full of stars.
I've noticed many places with so many blardy lights shining at one spot that nobody even uses. Why need so many lightings when some places the street lights alone can do the job? And then there are buildings or shops that switch on the lights through the night. Waste of electricity. -

Singapore small mah, everything concentrated in a spot. Other countries larger, towns and cities spread out, so lighting not so intense like spotlight.

try wearing sun glasses at nite.. hopefully u will have a better view of SG nite sky

Maybe lucky can see them... -

Ah! Very simple get a helipcopter fly about 30 stories and look below then you will see SIngapore

best place to see stars... ubin, tekong, east coast, esplanade, along coastal areas...
of coz if u wanna see stars that gives off light instantly and not light tat was given out few light years ago... u go bang yr head against the wall -

Theres too much light pollution to try to spot stars in singapore -

according to a recent survey done by an international company...singapore is ranked 2nd, from the top, in the Nightlife category leh -
Wait till you see Mongkok or YauMaTei in Hong Kong. No where in Singapore can match their brightness at night.

I will go somewhere where the sky is full of stars.. i dun think you can see in the region.
