Yes, Singapore as a city is unsuitable for star-gazing. Tekong have a beautiful star studded sky on clear nights.

Then it is REALLY beautiful.
I once was in some remote corner of the world... there are no urbanised area in the immediate 500km. The sky is practically white with stars.
And every few seconds.. there will be shooting stars.
The only pity... my gf wasn't beside me

i went once and really nice. the sky was star filled and like what ponders mentioned, shooting stars every few seconds. really damn nice
