As to what mischief can be wrought with a name and an account number alone, I can think of none. However, I never made a claim to that effect. In any case, I am not a professional criminal (and, I suspect, neither are you) so my inability to wreak havoc with an account number and a name is not evidence that it cannot be done.
My point stands: In this age of identity theft, the less you give away the better. -

Recently I have been very blur..
two times liao..
first time went to withdraw money, but after taking the card, forgot to take the money and receipt, and left. Lucky the girl behind me called me, if not, really money gone.
I went late night shopping, wanted to withdraw $30 for dinner and expenses, then i pressed wrong account.. nvm cancel, and slot in the card again.. this time i tot i pressed 'other withdrawal' but heck... i pressed another button.. and i was so shocked when one stack of $50 notes came out. Went to the deposit machine and deposited the money back.. counted.. $1000!! Heng there was a deposit machine.. if not I'm afraid I will lose it.. -
