Actually, to all those anti-smokers out there, don't be so judgemental either. There are lots more other more harmful and dangerous addictions. It's not like they child molestors or anything.
Be a little more understanding that this is a habit, you can't expect them to just stop overnight.
Your not being comfortable with the smoke it one thing, but to just hate them because of that is rather silly. Just because a person smokes doesn't mean he's the ultimate evil or something.
Of course it's a different thing when people deliberately blow the cigeratte smoke into your face. -

By this sentence, you are alrdy discriminating us cos we don't see smoking as anything wrong or that it is something to change. To us, this is simply part of our lifestyle. But then again, it's easy for you to say that you can do without smoking because you're not already a smoker. For smokers, it has become a habit (I say that a lot) and is basically part of their system and daily routine. You can't expect them to just give up totally. Even subutex abusers are giving doses to get over their cravings.
Actually, regarding your point about there being no factories and no mobile transport in the world, it's not like mankind hasn't been though that kind of era before. But it's just that now that we're introduced to it, we would prefer a life with it. Even though cars and factories do kind add to air polution.
My point is just this, it's easy from your point of view as a non-smoker to diss smokers and their habit. -

Why do non-smokers discrimate against smokers? Here's some proof.
Passive or involuntary smoking occurs when the exhaled and ambient smoke (otherwise known as environmental or secondhand smoke) from one person's cigarette is inhaled by other people. Passive smoking involves inhaling carcinogens, as well as other toxic components, that are present in secondhand tobacco smoke.
