had such probs too
they invaded my desk.
i cld only wait for it to disappear, cos i think there was a dead lizard or something at my desk, but jus cldnt find it.
those ant poison are useless lehz..
might cut down e numbers, but do not stop them
i spray insecticide periodically. -
I notice that the ants in my house crawl out from the grass downstairs the HDB block, climb up all the floors 1 by 1 and crawl into everybody's house, maybe I should check my neighbour's house to see whether the ants are the same as the ones I've found.
They can crawl everywhere. 1 ant is no problem, when you have a large bunch of them be prepared for war.
I know where they come from, but there's no good solution on how to kill 'em all!

ants have the best mobilisation technic in the world. -
sian. last time dun have one. i can bloody drop one sweet there and it'd stay there for weeks. i live at 11th story.

For me, it's very simple. I will smoke n blow the smoke around my desk. As long the ciggy smell stays, you won't see any more ants.

get a more effective ant poison. i put ant poison den in two days no more ants le.

i used ant poison bought from sheng siong supermarket and i never saw ants again at my workplace. even when i forgot to clear my rubbish bin of food wrappers and plastic bags.

That the misconception of smokers, all stuffed in an enclosed room smoking like some sort of drug addict. That's the sad thing of our education. Everyone just study for results and their view of the world is so small.

Coffee deter ants, try sprinkle some around your table.
If not place a cup under the table legs and fill it with water. (Replace water with oil if you are too busy to refill it every day.) -
Don't waste money to buy ant repellant.
Splash some water when the ants come!

All right, here's what I did. Many years ago, before my HDB estate was upgraded, my place was built in 1970s to 1980s. The toilet in my kitchen had a ants nest hidden in the toilet window!
You know how they do it? Small cracks in the walls, ceilings, window panes all became ants' nests!
So, I took a newly-bought bottle of Shieldtox, went into the toilet, and emptied the entire can of Shieldtox on the ants. It took me 20 minutes to spray until all the ants were dead.
The walls, floor, toilet bowl, ceiling had clusters and strings of small, brown dead ants everywhere! One by one all dropped down onto the floor and toilet bowl.
After all were down and dead, I turned on the water hose and flushed them down the toilet bowl!
But now, they're back! IDIOTS!!!

btw ants can drown. last time got a few in my drinks n yes, they're drowning. Of course I didn't drink it.
