Will Hokkien go extinct?

Nowadays when we have new attachment students I noticed that very few of them speak dialect.
Years of speak mandarin campaign has taken its toll. The young generation eat so much kendang that they cannot even speak Chinese proberly, let alone fluent tok gong Hokkien.
How can? How can?
What if one day I wake up and nobody speak Hokkien anymore? Seem sng ah! -

coz young punks nowadays think speak eng beri chic

I speak both fluent English and Hokkien. My mandarin is shockingly bad.

I think I speak English best, then Teochew, then Chinese.
