Hi guys, i'm the original tread starter...My take home pay ranges from between $1.5k to $2k...Anyway alot of u guys advise me to take up protection first...LOL...forgot to tell u all that my mom have already bought sufficient protection plan for me and my bro le from great eastern...
Haha...i'm fresh from the army leh, of cos have to get a saving base first b4 investing mah... Anyway i park my $$ in esaver from standard chartered first(interest rate is 1.88%, which is more then normal bank at 0.25%).Then when i hit 5k, then will put it in maybank(interest rate 2.3%). After i get enough for emergency uses, i will start to look into investing...maybe bonds, etc...
I'm from SIA in flight ops...gross abt 2k.... what abt u guys? care to share? -

Other expenses - $200 - $300
Saving - minimal - as most settle on Continuing education and paying back of education loan

I save $400 in insurance and $600(300x2) with my parents.They say they help me save so that I wont overspend and also next time got money for my marriage.
