First of all we are not "forced" or anything like that la! lolz.. Its just in the staple diet. Just like how Chinese can eat boiled vegetables and find them nice, Indians eat spicy food and find that nice. You give an Indian some stewed/boiled vegetables he will most probably not like it. I definitely don't. lol.. Too raw for me..
And not all Indians (refering to Indian Indians) can take spicy stuff lah. Certain parts of India have more tolerance and certain parts eat more "sweet" stuff.
And btw, India has the official most hot chilli in the world now :p Used to be Mexico last time..
I find plain, bland food just boring.. Bleh..
