  Firstly, local uni girls are very very busy. Whoever is an undergraduate here can attest to this, even if their workload is manageable, they still have stuff like cca, hostel activities etc to attend to. EVEN if they dont have such stuff (which is unlikely becos they'r so pretty and guys will pester them to join), their free time will be so busy with guys asking them out, for those pretty ones.

  first let's not sterotype gals from pte uni or doing distance learning.
  
  As for the rest of your arguement, I have to agree the statistics can't be that high. Although i believe there are some in this line of work, be it part time or even full time. However I strongly believe this number is actually quite low.
  The local universities including UniSIM have way too much work load and CCA for girls to sell themselves.
  
  But maybe this number or percentage increases during summer break?
