yea, they should not jump on the tracks and cause so many ppl to be late for work. Its not cost effective too,they have to pay for the fare tickets before they can jump. Since they are jumping, why not jump from HDB? its free...

Was it true when some guy who killed himself on the MRT tracks , his family had loads of donations from the sympathetic public ?
Now what if these fellas who are throwing themselves down the track are also aiming for the same thing- to ensure the financial welfare of their families?
So those who were planning on jumping into the tracks were in fact selfish just because they have their own selfish goal to achieve. They never gave a single thought of the outcomes and the impact on their loved ones that some things can be worked out when they are alive rather than dead.
In actual fact, they chose to be SO selfish that they MADE a CHOICE to impact the lives of others without thinking. What happens if a kid/adult sees them jumping off the track? The memories going to stick with the poor person for the rest of their lives. How about the poor MRT driver who was just doing his job transporting people about their daily routines? Anyone think of the poor fella controlling the MRT train which ended up killing a man through no fault of his ? The memory will also live with him too .
These suicide jumpers don't deserve my pity one bit. The family does but I won't donate money to the family because it will encourage more selfish people to jump . -

And those suicide jumpers never thought what if the MRT driver applies emergency brakes . A few people in the train will be thrown forward from the momentum and they themselves might get injured as well.

life is important. if you commit suicide, you would think nobody would feel remorse rite? well you are wrong, even the people who dont know much about you would feel remorse...
most people would commit suicide becos of wat? material things like money, love and such... humans can still survive without them...
so please, treasure life. don't think you've done a good deed by jumping to conclusions.
