My experience once was this bus uncle KNN purposely slow down the bus and stop at every bus stop, even when there was no passenger dropping or flagging for the bus to stop. And it was on a Sunday morning at 7:30 am. AS a result, I was late for work.
I then wrote in via their internet website and the uncle kenna terok from their mgt. Their mgt wrote back...

there is one grumpy uncle who used to drive the no.12 , everytime at tampines jc bus stop he will spot check all the boys ONLY
if u didnt pay the correct fare, u will not given a chance to top up, u be asked to leave the bus, its super embarrasing n super unfair lor
n tat time i jus finished my o levels, i think its pretty normal to punch the lowest fare on the transitlink card, finished school but no income
tat time i still young , duno anything, but now if i see him again, i sure will take down his name n complain him jialat
i think we shld get sbs to clarify on this case, under wad circumstances can a bus driver ask a passenger to leave the bus -

I met with this problem when I was in Sec 3.. 1997.. I was still a very "guai" student back then from SAP school... Boarded Bus no 7 from Holland V on a Sat.. used pink card (student) and the bus uncle stopped me, ask me show him my concession pass.. I did so and he still didn't believe I was a student, demanded to retain it and told me to follow him back to the bus station!! I was so stunned that I guai guai give to him.. kept talking to me like he had caught a cheat.. He even challenged me, "which school are you from? what address?"
I was so bloody outraged that I just stood there for the entire journey scold him in machine-gun english.. I took down his bus number, his name, then when I reached my stop I said "Uncle! My stop liao, U gonna gimme back my pass anot!" He finally relented and returned the pass to me muttering weakly, "next time change photo ah!"
There was this ang moh sitting in front, he watched the whole thing silently.. I happened to glance over and he had this huge knowing grin plastered all over his face. ZZZ! -
Next time this happens, take down the bus number, license number, and get your parents to lodge an Official Complain. And demand for compensation for inconvenience and embarrassment!!! Todae, at newton MRT, ard 7 15, i boarded 162 and tap my EZ link. Was tierd , so sat at the back. However, bus driver came out and single me out and asked me to show him ym ez link. Since he was polite, perhaps i never tap properly, my mistake? nvm, show lor. Then he said, " WHOS that in the photo displayed in the ez link?" Stunned! Told him that is me. Still dun believe. liew fine show him my IC.
Just when i though it was just misunderstanding, he said this ez link is for small boys.... didn't SBS told us that we could extend our ez link card from P6 to JC 2?
Isn't this obvious? born in 1988 yet was accused of faking my age.. F*** him.
I said politely, " Erm... sbs said we could extend our ez link since we r still schooling. Even if i am not in JC, poly students are still considered stuents mah right?" Still dun believe.
In the end, he opened the door and told me to leave the bus.. F*** him! everyone stared at me as if i was a terrorist.. SCREW SBS!

Wah! just came back frm genting todae! i ren ming le! Was taking photos with my tripod at the indoor theme park in genting when a boi came to ka ciao me. He kept staring at my cam. Then his mum came and said, "boi ah! come back! dun disturb uncle frm taking photos!" 2nd time le!
