  Ok,all the examples I mentioned so far happened to me during my uni days.
  
  Now,lets shift gears and talk about the working world.
  
  Today i went for a seminar,then u noe la got those group discussion crap.
  
  My group is my head of department and my dept ppl.
  
  5 ladies(who r more senior than me) n 1 guy.
  
  We didnt mention anything abt who present later so we just discuss.
  
  After finish discussion,suddenly my head say I present.Though she is our head,we can talk to her like friend friend like that.I say"cannot la,dun bully younger boys like me" Then the rest of my group intervened and say I present.
  
  I know I lost the fight liao...Luckily I never screwed up the presentation.

  yea,im scared of those. theres a name for it, some kind of social anxiety or what lol. so when i present,to stop my voice frm trembling i will speak louder (i.e. shout) unconsciously... and once i was told tht i looked very angry when i was stopped halfway through my presentation 0_o

  Rest assure that in a tertiary institution lecture,outta 200,150 are not listening of some sorts...

  I know coz I am one of the 150/200 sleeping
  
  ang mos are damm power man...I attended lectures in ang mos unis b4,they shoot arrows at the lecturer left right centre up and down.The lecturer talk for a few mins will have student ask qn liao.But the ang mo lecturer also not stressed.He very happy to ans their qns.

  its their culture to ask questions Lecturers also encouraged it.
  
  Confrontational style. The lecturers see asian students dont ask any questions they think they gong gong no understand anything.

  i hate those pple, waste my time, want to ask questions go and ask after the lecture. don't waste my time asking the lecturer about stuff that i can understand! unless i also got doubts then different story, which is why i prefer pple to ask after lecture

  Actually,oral presentations can be quite enjoyable...
  
  Last time,I also q scared of making presentations-heart beat very fast just before speaking but you get used to it,it is v nice feeling.

  i dun like pple to get too cocky n confident at the stage, they bore me to death!
