Yeah i really don't understand why they like to on the songs and let everyone listen,they may think they are sharing their favourite music with others,but some of us rather listen to our own mp3players.

I also do encounter the malay kids playing music max volume in the sbs bus,it is ROCK ,TECHO,METAL and those music that can be heard in the pub.It is so irritating and noisy,but I just keep quite and torlerate.

i noticed a lot of these young punks blasting loud music/ringtones frm their hp always go to the orange carriages. and most of those i see r young malay guys (not racist), juz stating facts. gotta admit its damn irritating but kids being kids, hopefully they grow out of this phase.
Moral of story:Avoid the orange carriages. -

I think ever since HP can store music, alot of malay kids start to play their freaking irritating music loudly on bus or train. usually their fav spot is at the head or tail of the train. DAMN irritating.. super duper irritating.

my MP3 player got an output for subwoofer, and i got subwoofer ran by battery...so the mrt mostly got bass.
and my fren got speaker, so like quite fun -

This morning at peak hour, a chinese boy came in. His HP was ringing at max vol. Then he took out his player and started watching movie at high volume as well. Everyone stared at him and his just ignored everyone. No one told him off. He walked off the train as if his daddy built the thing.
My conclusion. Some kids are:
1. Not taught any manners
2. Deaf -
shrugs. if u confront the kid, what's going to happen? the worst case is that he tries to pick a fight, which of course, you being the more mature one, will back off. and you've just created a scene which can be avoided with tolerance.

Why not ask them nicely to lower the volume? Maybe they will do as you requested like the bunch of boys who were told off to turn down their volume.
Much easier that way instead of staring at that kid and expecting them to be psychic .
If they do not listen , then tell them off. -
there was this time.. i forgot to switch off to silent mode... then i was listening to my mp3 player(with earphones).. so din hear when my phone rang... then everyone was looking at me

Most probably it's because SOME (stated cos im a kid too ) of the kids're attention-seekers , the easiest way is to show off in public transports like turning the volume of mp3 to the max , etc o.oll .
Yah ! Most of the attention-seekers 're rich and spoilt by their parents / grandparents
