just act like urself...if dere are any noe who has the same interest and hobbies as u try talking to them and the make frens

1. Have a sense of humour and don't treat everything your friends say seriously. Sometimes they may say things that are offensive, but they don't mean it.
2. Know right from wrong. Know what you are doing and always think of the consequences.
3. Don't ever get addicted to a game that you wake up at 3am just to play it.
4. If you dunno, ask. Clarifying is better than doing the wrong thing.
5. Learn to manage time well. Balance work and play.
6. Don't try too hard to make friends, ppl will view you as an attention seeker instead.
7. Don't be afraid to try out new things (except smoking, taking drugs of course...). Secondary school is when you start going out with friends to explore. Bowling, ice-skating, etc are good activities to try out. Healthy activities. LAN gaming is unhealthy if you feel the urge to play everyday.
8. Don't ever try anything funny with the teachers and admins. Stay out of trouble. And don't always think online ranting is harmless.
9. Look on the positive side. Participating enthusiastically in school events is better than brooding over the time wasted.
10. Making friends? Be yourself. -
its natural 1..... my secondary life jus ended, jus try to talk to people on ur firsy day if ur sec 1, jus try to talk abit more, dont be shy. take part in CCA and stuff. life in school is actually the best. cherish it

on the 1st day of sch when u noe nobody dont talk so much yet.
if not ppl will find u QIAN BIAN, which i experienced it myself by toking to much kok
when taking attendance try to remember some of the friendly looking ppl or the one sitting beside u (as partner are important to u in sch) and when got free time or recess try surprising them by knowing their name. nvm if they are not surprised, its the same. then u can start to talk lame thing and go away
for example,
You : hi mohamad abbah kumar francisco desmond john.
Mohamad Abbah Kumar Francisco Desmond John : o hi
You : hey u looks sexy in this bird nest hair style.
Mohamad Abbah Kumar Francisco Desmond John : o thx... .... * wtf this person so lame yet so friendly...*
1st try to have a few so called close friend, REMEMBER DO NOT MAKE REAL FRIEND YET, you havent noe anyone of them well, they will show thier true colour after 2 months.
then try making every conversation speechless for the person, especially girls if ur boys, or expecially boys if ur girls. cuz from my experience these makes them wanna talk to u more. but dont do it TOO often.
slowly let them noe ur good points, for instance like u make a few nice joke, nvm if its cold or lame but this shows ur friendliness.
this is a tip if ur a boy, stare into the girl eye while making them feel ur jking only. this makes them attracted to u, not neccessarily be attrated as relationship, but maybe friend.
but if wat stated above is TOO far from ur own characteristics, then forget about wat i said -.-
worth a try too.

sth to add to, no need to feel embarassed when u done something wrong but funny and everyone laughing at u, try to make it as if ur purposely making a joke for everyone to laugh at

when doing expansion in maths, do it this way:
eg, expand the following:
(2x + 4d) (3x + 2d)
= (---space-----2x----space----+---space----4d)-space--(---space---3x--space-+---space---2d) and so on....

When coming to choose your CCA, just think which one do you have interest in
those that will benefit you when you grow up and also on whether it can improve on your personal characters. Just remember, don't join a CCA where someone forces you to join as it can be disastrous in the end as you may not have the interest and not going it at all.
So if you are those active type of person, you can consider joining uniformed or sports group
If not so active, maybe can join those clubs

I was also a student leader. In charge of discipline one.
Usually it's good when the teachers need stuff to get done and they come looking for you. u know it might mean they think either you're the best person for the job. Helps when you come to Sec 4/5 and you're getting your testimonial for acceptance into post-secondary education (Though I didn't get mine because of results) -

let the SCs catch u once in a while, becos, they oso stress after all their work, my school's SCs have to attend alot of meetings. so let them catch OCCASIONALLY before they go and jump onto MRT tracks....and make everyone late for work, bla bla bla

clubs dont give that much... So it does not make any difference here. Just go for your CCA regularly, this will boost up your knowledge on any kind of stuffs. -

my school only got sec1-sec4
So reaching end of sec 3..become NCO liao...
So in the other units with sec 5s..the sec5s become NCO for 2 years?or 1 year become CI?or after sec4 no more NP for them? -
