  Chinese is an umbrella culture. That's it! Whoever they conquer or conquered them eventually became chinese too.
  
  Let's look at the Yuan dynasty, warriors from Mongolia, they moved their capital from Mongolia to Beijing, eventually becoming chinese. Or the Manchu, pretty much non-existance now.
  
  Anyway, I doubt this beifengren is from China, most likely a clone of motowatevershit here to stir up more shit.

  When was the South troubled? The Japanese never really touched the South during its invasion(except for Hong Kong). Perhaps the most trouble was during the Chinese Civil War, which started in the South, since the Japanese took up most of the North. Mao Zedong is a southerner... LOL!
  
  And seriously, how many young Singapore chinese still have a grasp of their own dialect? Most of us can only use standard chinese now...

  northern chinese are stupid . economic develop very slowly now . so now many china ppl who go to singapore to work as workers or xiao jie sre mostly from northern china . just like u . beifangren .
