i only know the feeling of having needles pierce through my skin and into my veins. have no idea how it feels to have a needle sewing on the surface of the skin. I guess shouldnt be tt bad. Guess you must have considered quite a while before you decided to do it... Well, I have did three tattoo in 3 different places, 2 in Far East and the latest one (which is also at my pelvis) in Heeren.
All of them did a good job, I think the placement of the tattoo is very important, for me, I did it at places which is unique and visible to me, I find it stupid to put it at places, eg back of your body coz you put is to let yourself see and not for others to see... Tattoo is individual, it's not to tell the whole world that you got a nice bodyart on your back but you cant see it yourself...
Bodysrt is addictive, and thats the truth... So beware, I am quite sure you will do it again... And it's painful, really painful, if people tell you it's like ant bite, ask them to try it. The pain is exactly like taking a penknife and slowly cutting on your flesh. Thats the exact pain and feeling you will get.. Doing the outline is the most painful if you are thinking of putting celtic, and pelvis is one of the most painful area, coz it's very near to all the bones, and you will feel the needle piercing on the bones...
For healing, try to apply as much lotion as possible and DON'T EVER TRY PEELING OFF THE DEAD SKIN, let them peel themselves...
Hope this will helps... And I am not trying to promote or encourage putting tattoo... To me, putting tattoo is to remind me of certain things that has got impact onmy life and something that is very special to me myself...
