Worst for me definitely is Boon Lay shopping centre. Mom used to drag me there with my other relatives and the place simply sux. No air-con and the shops sux, except maybe the toy shops lol. I dreaded going there.
White Sands shopping centre is also quite pathetic. Especially when its the only place to hang around a bit before booking in to Tekong. Sad. Cinemas dont even wanna operate there anymore. Worse than Lot 1. -

best - marina square, suntec city, vivo city, ngee ann city.
worst - sembawang shopping ctr, east point, hougang mall.
how come no one mentions bugis juntion? -
dawson place... along Alexandra road.. believe many of u have seen it b4. inside is really full of shops sellin rubbish

Worse=Katong dunno what -
Siglap shopping centre and Eastwood mall not bad la.Always go there last time when in NS.

if u notice, most shopping centres near MRT are sure to have these following shops.

Oh yah. Jurong Entertainment Centre suxxx big time. The concept of the entertainment centre is a total flop, coz in the end people only cared about shopping. And it must be only silly place to use the silly concept of cinema entrances amongst shops. So uncinema-like. Go there watch movies also feel very sianz. Enter cinema like entering shops. Now they are trying very hard to upgrade the place but its still lagging light years behind IMM.

Those the bring back the fondest memories.
Katong Shopping Center - Used to buy computer games there. In those days, games come in diskettes. A game like Hero Quest fits 10 disks! They pack it in a plastic bag with a manual. Pirated of course, but in those days nobody sells originals in Singapore.
Upper Serangoon Shopping Center - I take bus number 24 from my secondary school there. On the highest story, there's a shop that sells computer games. It is still there today I believe. The arcades have Street Fighter II Champion edition. And on the ground floor, there are shops that allows you to play games at $2 an hour. There's Neo Geo and Super Gun.
Katong Complex - I hang around this mall, in a music shop called Smash Top 40 Music Mart for hours every friday. Its a really tiny place that sells rock music casettes. I bought Metallica and Guns & Roses there.
That's back in the late 80s and early 90s. Where I mis-spent most of my teen and childhood...
I still visit both malls. When I am there, I sit at the coffee stalls, and think about myself. In my humble opinion, the worst malls today are the best malls that I have ever gone to... -

tampines mall is also not bad from my memories. the biggest neighbourhood mall in singapore. haven't visit it for years already. not sure how much it have changed.
jurong point is also not bad too. just a few bus stops away from my house.
