Overusage of acne cover cream.

  Due to my serious acne skin, I've used this product to cover my acne to make it less visible. However, the cream don't really last and my acne seems to be more visible after 3 - 4 hours. Then I have to go to the toilet to apply the cream again. May I know the side-effects of over-applying such cream?

  Irritation, Itchiness and redness? Unless you have hyper sensitive skin or allergy to the cream. Or else I guess that's it.... And also likely it would not help the acne much.
  
  You should have a proper regieme of creams and washing.

  Too much of a good thing is usually a bad thing. But that rule doesn't apply for luck or money. Because its never enough for the majority of us.

  Err.. It's this Beautain brand my mom bought for me for quite a high price. Hmm.. What is the blemishes you're talking about..?

  Dunno is it because of the cream but it's rather itchy sometimes. Well.. I need the cream to prevent the redness. So ugly! That's why I have to apply it to get rid of the redness everytime the cream wear off.

  misuse of such strong pimple cream will only leads to overburn, will cause irritation n redness.

  dont use lousy brands like oxy etc..... dont buy from those stupid chinese beauty saloon and facial kind..
  
  use clarin's anti blemish cream. get from department stores like seiyu. but i never had acne so i dont know how good it'll be for you.

  I use Benzac AC 2.5% benzoyl peroxide.
  
  Note the concentration of benzoyl peroxide - 2.5%. From what I've read, 2.5% benzoyl peroxide is almost as effective as 10%. And with a lower concentration, there will be less redness and itching compared to either 5% or 10% which Oxy has.
  
  The bottom line still remains: too much of a good thing can be bad for you. Even with 2.5%, I don't smear lots of it at one go.

  Use concealer. A cheap one's like 10 bucks, and good enough. Believe in the power of cosmetics.

  I've had quite a lot of experience with acne creams... My advice is as long as it doesnt cause your skin to peel or redden and you dont feel any itch, it's alright to carry on using it... But concealing it is one thing... getting rid of the root of the problem is another...
  
  You can go to a doctor and ask him for recommended acne cream... Theirs will be slightly more expensive... abt near $20 per tube... but it's more effective... and most probably he will give u antibiotics if your condition is bad... the antibiotics really helps prevent new pimples frm surfacing....
  
  However, if you want best results, go consult a skin specialist... it's definitely more pricey but it's damn effective.... i saw the change in my cousin's skin after she went to National Skin Centre (or sth like tht... forgot the name...government one lah)....

  Try a few kinds of facial wash... and then stick to the one that you find is most effective... you dont have to wash your face a lot of times a day... it's bad for acne... maximum twice a day....
