I personally know a person who complain that people are too materialistic and superficial. During the same conversation, the same man told me that he will never buy from a shop that gives less than 10 percent discount.
Last time I used to be very pissed off at this sort of behaviour, because I thought that they were "deliberately" not making any sense.
Recently I realized - maybe common sense is not very common and many people actually don't know that they are not making any sense.
Are there any things that people do that absolutely makes no sense and gets on your nerves?
This is the first post which i think contains no common sense...Originally posted by aku1b0d0:example: students cannot bring handphones to school but teachers can.
assholes.
Wah a lot of students on sgforums ah!Originally posted by Chris1988:alright saying stuffs abt teacher can do this and that but students cannot is like simply saying why did they implement age limitations? why got nc-16 m-18 and r-21? why pool centres only allow people people who are 16 above? cigarettes and alcohol 18 and above?
well in my opinion i do meet with people smth simple as.. "i got no money" (proceeds to enter KFC) or "you know how to do this question?", "dunno" (proceeds to ask teacher) *while teacher starts to explain* *interuption* "ya ya is like this do one aiya actually wanted to tell u just now one"![]()

Teachers ego and pride higer then sky.Originally posted by Cystaire:Once in secondary school, a teacher was telling us about colours. When she mentioned black, I remarked that black isn't really a colour, but an absence of light.
She was unhappy with that view and then started to make fun of me in front of the class.
I won't use chopstick to whack everyone on the boat, because I have met both good teachers and bad teachers.Originally posted by Xephone_xenon:Teachers ego and pride higer then sky.
Because they are used on the winning side liao.
They got authority they scared you for what.
The thing i cant stand is teacher ask you meet them outside staff room.
But in the end become you wait for them half hour then they come find you.
And ya why teachers can be rude to students.
Pupils cannot be rude to teachers? I have meet teachers that everyday use sarcastic remarks say students.
Students say a little nia go general office liao.
The education system in sg is flawed la.
They keep on increase teacher pay so more ppl wan become teacher.
But then most of those that become teacher does not have the teaching interest at all.
They just take their pay students got learn anot dont care.
They buay song with students a little they just send them to office.
Parents come they diam diam. Dont want find trouble for themself.
It's OK I understand what you mean.Originally posted by Xephone_xenon:Sorry for my post. Refering to some of the unreasonbale teachers only.
i would like to say students should be able to bring cellphones because it is a convenient tool and at times necessary. however, the problem lies with many students who cannot discipline themselves not to fool about with their handphones during lesson......teachers are adults and therefore expected to be responsible.....to compare the rights of a teacher and that of a student is tenuous....students, stick to your books, study well, work hard and in the future get a well paying job and you can have all the handphones you want...iphone anyone??Originally posted by aku1b0d0:example: students cannot bring handphones to school but teachers can.

Let's talk about common sense. If we bring our handphones to school, do we use it when the teacher is teaching? It seems like when the teachers are teaching and their handphones ring, they'll quickly take the handphone and leave the classroom. We, on the other side, would use it either when we're bored or when there's no teacher in the class. You what we call this thing in SgForums? Bullshit.Originally posted by Sekundes:This is the first post which i think contains no common sense...
Looking at how he post it, he's a kid.

i was once a secondary student myself and i gurantee you hp was the greatest distraction of all times especially with all the sms-ing during class. not many are patient enough to wait for the lesson to be over to reply a sms. this is why i think perhaps school don't allow students to bring hp to school. but as far as i know you ARE allowed to bring hp to school during secondary sch can't you?Originally posted by aku1b0d0:Let's talk about common sense.
