  hi, so i was thinking of taking the girl that i like out one night, apart from the pseudo restaurant but actually classy fast food outlets where u look around and see hordes of people flowing past your very eyes.. where would you take your girl?
  
  i'm actually looking for some place with reasonably romantic/nice ambiance and reasonable food.. budgets around 50?
  
  or.. if its just a place with good coffee, seats and perfect for having a conversation with the girl of your dreams. an example would be the TCC at centrepoint.. good couches etc.
  
  preferably places more near to shopping centres eg town?

  like marina mandarim atrium lounge.......
  or meritus mandarin mezebar.....

  Tried Mezebar when I stayed at Meritus Mandarin last year...darn ex man!

  lol thanks for the suggestion but i dont wanna TRY to maintain focus on the girl.. and be unsettled amongst the scantily clad ladies.

  the jewel box is a good choice.......like altivo.......
  but better to have own transport to go up there

  the restaurant there is not bad.......and nice view........

  go bens and jerry. got nice ice cream and place the place is very cosy. A lot of young couples hang out there.

  go The lounge lor...at Heeren...nice n cosy...alot of pp, but dont worry..
  first date, more pp is ok..if too quiet, she may feel uncomfortable..

  Club Chinois! My favorite! But expensive.
  
  For something cheaper, if you dun like bars and such, can try Tao's restaurant. Its quiet, food ok and reasonable pricing abt $20-30 per person. After that, can always adjourn to TCC on level 1.
