Visiting Churches

Thanks to all for the input.
We went to Saint Andrew's. It was cool. Even though we're muslims, we find the idea of getting married in a quaint little church very sweet, so we fantasized about that in the prayer hall. It's a little sparse on the inside, maybe I was expecting more grandeur. But the exterior is still very pretty to look at nonetheless. All we did was talk softly in the prayer hall. Doesn't sound like much but it was my fav part of the date. Went to the other cliched places after that (Stamford, Esplanande, Suntec blablabla).
The church was a unique experience!

there are many places with very interesting decor and they don't have to be churches. in fact the civic area are filled with buildings that are rich in classical architecture and history.
my personal fave is the Fullerton Hotel... such nice 19th Century kind of building, together with the function of a 21st century grand hotel.

When I go to italy... guess what we visit those very grand and old catheral.... the people are actually inside having service... and there are throngs of visitors walking in and out by the side... was a church...

muslim CAN go to other religions' temple or church. Anyway, Muslims are taught to open their mind to other religions. A multi-racial society. Parents usually don't like their children to go to these places cos their minds are easily brainwash able.Originally posted by popikachu:hmmm...

When you were at Saint Andrew's ... did you visit their New Sanctuary? It is underground. Pretty cool.
