Eunos MRT accident?

Was going home from Airport after work today. Then heard a high pitch "ding dong", i thought new sound sia
, but it was an emergency one.
At Airport : "As there is an accident in some segments of trains heading to Pasir Ris, trains will be delayed for about 50mins.
After that reach Tenah Merah : "As there is some messed up in our computer systems, it has cause a delay, sorry for the inconvenience caused"(something like that, roughly type out from my memory, and announce not clear.)
At there moment I was thinking, are they hiding something? -

TRAIN SERVICES DISRUPTED

Eastbound trains were disrupted for close to an hour yesterday after a man jumped onto the tracks at Eunos MRT station.
The man, a Chinese in his 40s, was semi-conscious and suffered leg injuries after he was hit by a train at 3.01pm. He was sent to the Changi General Hospital.
During the disruption, all eastbound trains were turned around at Aljunied station while some westbound trains were turned around at Tanah Merah station.
Buses were deployed to ferry passengers between Aljunied and Tanah Merah; about 4,000 passengers were affected.
Those unable to complete their journeys because of the disruption
can claim a full fare refund at any of the 51 SMRT stations within three working days, said SMRT. Police are investigating the incident.
Last month, a young woman had a close call when she fainted and fell onto the train tracks at Jurong East MRT station. A quickthinking commuter on the platform activated the emergency stop plunger and the incoming train stopped just a few metres away from her. -
You see, when nobody dies, a thread like this struggles barely past 3 pages in a day.

Why do these idiots choose suicide like this?
Because of him 4000++ people affected..
I mean i don't condone suicides but if he really wants to do it..
Jump in a deep drain instead of a MRT track..
People might call me unsympathetic towards these people but if they choose to take the easy way out of their own lives, suicide only proves they're losers. -

another 1 month or so till another one decides to jump the track.
The reason these people want to comitscuide on the MRT track is because it is easier then going to the top of a 30 story building and taking the plundge.
Easier because just need to jump only, if got to the building then must have courage to jump. Just my 2cents worth. -
If you go to block 109 bukit purmei near the sheltered link to the overhead bridge. There is hole in one of the covered linkways between the block's void with police cordon. Apparently last saturday, a girl had attempted suicide from that block in the late evening from the 7th floor. She jumped and crashed thru the linkway. It was apparently a failed attempt because the ambulance came and took her away. I got no other news about the case other than the above.

Like in India.. everyday there surely is a person who jump onto track.
They just carried on business as usual, clean up the mess later.
So to be better, we just leave the body there. If need be, MRT trains should forward and reverse few times over the body to crush and flatten the body so as subsequent train will have a smoother ride.
The sight will be a strong deterrent for ppl in future -

It is a fact that everyday at least 1 fatal incident will occur on India's train tracks.
And they do not clean up immediately as peak hour schedules are packed. Any disruption will have a snow ball effect
