  Following an email sent by an anonymous STOMP user about Damai Secondary students caught gambling and smoking near the school premises, the school was contacted for a comment, and Principal Loh Cheung Ming responded to the query.
  
  This is his email to STOMP:
  
  "We believe that the photograph in your 18 Jan 07 email was taken some time ago as the students captured in the photograph graduated from the school in 2006.
  
  The school has in place programmes to educate our students on proper conduct and behaviours in public places, and we work very closely with the parents of our students on these issues as well.
  
  At the same time, we actively engage the Resident Committees and various agencies on cases where students may have fallen short of expectations. Our staff also visit the void decks regularly to ensure that our students do not upset the peace and tranquility of the neighbourhood.
