With reference to my earlier post about not being proud of this victory, I don't dare claim it as my own when I don't even follow the local football league scene, much less give it my support. This is brusque of me to say, but there are a significant number of fair-weather fans among those who cheered last night. I don't want to catch myself becoming one.
No discredit to the team though, especially since Lewis bounced back from the setbacks. -

Be proud of your country, not frown upon it. A successful country attracts people from all over, allthough many of us are born here, we can trace ourselves back to malaysia or china or india.
Same goes for the USA.
It takes time. in the future when our fotball standards go up, everyone will say our local talents are very good.
And simply forget, this generation of footballers, who laid the foundation for us. We don't forget our forefathers who strive to keep this nation alive do we? They are also foreign talents.

the away match will be interesting as we are playing on thailand homeground. it will be extremely tension heat as the Thais deep-hatred toward Singaporeans due to politics issue.
